How Chapter Funds are Spent

We have had the pleasure of visiting the veterans at the VA hospital in Salem for many years now, providing them with meals and treats not typically on their menu, and activities such as bingo or Pinewood Derby cars along with canteen books for prizes that they can use at the in-hospital store.

We schedule 5 luncheons per year, plus a Christmas Party with gift bags and other gifts, and a Veterans Day lunch to make their day special.

Our chapter also works with other veteran support groups in the area to provide assistance to local veterans with short term financial problems such as utility bills that are unexpectedly high, minor vehicle repairs, temporary housing, transportation to and from doctor appointments, etc.

We also work with local organizations that support and treat veterans with PTSD, Agent Orange research and counseling, and the current crisis of 22 veteran suicides each day.

All money donated to our chapter is exclusively used to help veterans in any way that we can.

Your donation will help us raise awareness and provide support for our veterans.
